The Government of Jordan (GoJ) has received a financing from the European Union (EU) to support the implementation of its National Solid Waste Management Strategy.
The EU funding is composed of a Budget Support component and a Project component. Part of the Project omponent’s funds has been delegated to the French Development Agency (AFD) through a delegation agreement. The Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MoMA) of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan intends to use part of the delegated funds thereof for payments under the following service contract: Technical Assistance for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the “Support to the Implementation of the National Solid Waste Management Strategy” (Project Component). The Technical Assistance Team (TAT) recruited through this consultancy will be part of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), embedded in MoMA, whose missions are detailed below. |
