   2. The National Procurement Commission (NPC) on behalf of Ministry of Public Works (MOP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders. The Time for Completion shall be thirty (36) months from the Commencement Date. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation and upgrading of two (2) existing water sources including associated pumping systems; the development of two (2) new water sources including pumping systems and related facilities; the construction of one (1) tunnel of approximately 13 meters in length and two (2) vertical shafts of approximately 23 meters depth each; the construction of twelve (12) pumping stations complete with all civil, mechanical, electrical, and control systems; the supply and installation of approximately thirty-six (36) kilometers of raw water and treated water transmission mains; the construction of four (4) disinfection and water softening buildings including process equipment; the construction of eight (8) reinforced concrete ground water storage tanks and one (1) reinforced concrete elevated water tower tank; the supply and installation of approximately one hundred and four (104) kilometers of distribution network pipelines; and the construction and commissioning of approximately five thousand seven hundred (5,700) service connections. The Contractor shall coordinate closely with BTL and the Employer to minimize disruption to the existing water supply system and to support continued normal operation of water supply services to the city during construction. Any temporary works, bypass arrangements, phased construction, or shutdown mitigation measures required due to the Contractor’s activities shall be included in the Contractor’s scope and cost and shall be subject to prior approval and coordination with BTL and the Employer
